The Swansea Emergency Management Agency has launched a new emergency
notification system utilizing the services of RAVE Mobile Systems. The Swansea-
RAVE Alert Emergency Notification System is primarily activated for weather
related emergencies to include major storms that could cause flooding and/or
high winds resulting in property damage. The system may also be used to notify
residents of other emergencies that require immediate attention or action by
residents.
When emergencies happen, be the first to know! Swansea emergency officials
will use Swansea- RAVE Alerts to send official, real-time alerts to the public with
information about potentially life-saving actions they may need to take to keep
themselves and their families safe. By signing up for Swansea- RAVE Alerts you
are taking a large step toward improving your personal safety.
This service is provided by the Town of Swansea at no cost to the public; however,
message and data rates may apply depending on your provider and phone
services
